The hands are one of the most mechanically complex structures of the body. Additionally, the hands, like the feet, face and ears, also have a sophisticated system of reflexes that relate to all parts of the body.
Similar to the feet in their basic mapping, the hands are worked in a very different way. The focus of the Hand Reflexology workshop is the understanding and the practice of the specific techniques used.
What will this Hand Reflexology training give you that you don't already have?
1. It'll give you the confidence to go into corporations, health facilities, orchestras and symphonies and offer the best Reflexology ever. For those who work with their hands, there's just nothing better.
2. Hand Reflexology will provide you with an amazing set of skills. You can practice these techniques anywhere, anytime. No need to take off shoes & sox, like you do for the foot.
Hand Reflexology has proved to help relieve cramps for a woman in an airplane, indigestion for someone in a restaurant and communicate with the aged in a nursing home. In all of these situations, working on the feet was not an option.
3. It'll give you the knowledge base that will soon be a standard requirement for all Reflexologists. The American Reflexology Certification Board is currently looking to include Hand Reflexology for its National Certification exam. Why wait?

Instructor Wendy Coadhas a Masters of Fine Arts and a degree in Education. She has been a Holistic Health Practitioner and Bodyworker for the past 16 years.
As Principal Instructor, she teaches Reflexology Professional Training Programs at the Vital Energy Source, New York Open Center, and around the country. She has private practices in Manhattan and Fort Lauderdale, FL.
An Educator for 25 years, Ms. Coad has years of professional experience in Reflexology and teaching. She's trained in both Eastern and Western methods of Reflexology.
Ms. Coad, a former Director of the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB), is a member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the New York State Reflexology Association (NYSRA), the Reflexology Association of America (RAA), the American Polarity Therapy Association (RPP) and is a licensed massage therapist in both New York and Florida.
